Flippin Arthritis

Making sure the people who get it, ‘GET it’!

We’ve known about arthritis for a long time and we know all there is to know about it right? Well…maybe not.

Scientists have made several discoveries about pain and arthritis in recent years, and it turns out everything may not quite be as we thought.

Have you ever been told:

  • It’ll only get worse?
  • There’s nothing that can be done?
  • Surgery is your only option?
  • It’s because of your weight?

If so, it might be time to take another look.

Arthritis affects a LOT of people. It’s a challenge for people affected by it, and a challenge for people trying to provide care for those struggling to live with it.

Join Associate Professor Tasha Stanton and an expert panel for this series of events will provide the latest scientific understanding of osteoarthritis in an easy to understand way. Some of what we now know may surprise you, and it may provide new hope for the future.
