COVID EMERGENCY BOOSTER PROGRAMME FOR PATIENTS REGISTERED AT STOCKPORT MEDICAL GROUP
We’re inviting by text ALL eligible patients to timed appointments in cohorts 1-9 to receive their COVID booster vaccine this week. This means that everyone eligible will have been offered booster vaccination before Christmas. We’re vaccinating those housebound patients, Care & Nursing Home patients, Care Workers and immunosuppressed patients who’ve not already had their booster vaccine, this week.
Despite the national shortage of GPs, we are trying to maintain GP appointments at our usual level throughout this period too to minimise the impact on access to urgent healthcare as much as we can. Unfortunately our staff are suffering an increased number of infections (including COVID) resulting in unavoidable periods of reduced appointments. Thank you for your patience
